ACTIVITIES Charity Island is a nirvana for the nature lover. Many species of neo tropical birds as well as bald eagles, hawks and ospreys inhabit the Island at various times of the year. Night sky watching is unspoiled by artificial lights and is perhaps the best you will find in lower Michigan. The waters surrounding Big Charity are known to be some of the best Walleye and Smallmouth Bass fishing in Saginaw Bay.
